By using HealthMon you consent to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of HealthMon indicates your acceptance of this policy and any modifications of it that we might make in the future. The current Privacy Policy will always be published here and can be checked at any time.
Apple HealthKit Integration
In order to analyze and present information to you, HealthMon relies on the ability to read, will never write, your health data for steps from the Apple HealthKit database on your iPhone and Apple Watch.
HealthMon cannot read, and never writes data, from nor to the Apple HealthKit database unless you specifically grant access.
Data read from the Apple HealthKit database is used to calculate the steps walked within the given day.
The protection of any data stored on your iPhone and Apple Watch within the HealthMon app is your sole responsibility. Please consult your device documentation on how to manage local storage and how to apply appropriate security controls to your device for the protection of information.
HealthMon is in no way responsible for the protection of data and information stored within the Apple HealthKit database. It is strongly recommended that you review Apple’s applicable policies and procedures before synching and backup up your Apple HealthKit data.
Anonymous Data Collection
HealthMon collects anonymous statistical data in order to track application opens and basic demographics. HealthMon has no means by which to identify you as an individual. HealthMon does not use your device’s advertising identifier nor any third party attribution tools, nor any form of “fingerprinting”.
Data collected includes but is not limited to device model, country, gender and age (not date of birth). No health related information is collected. This data is not shared with any 3rd parties.
